As you probably know, Jillian Michaels is the “hard as a rock” personal trainer on the tv hit series The Biggest Loser.  And if you are thinking about joining up her program, then I want to share some inside information about her club

You see, before Jillian Michaels joined the Biggest Loser, she was a little out of shape just like you and me. However, through a strict training program and well rounded diet, she was able to shed the excess weight she wanted. (Oh, if you didn’t know, she is into martial arts.)

But it wasn’t all success from Day 1.  You see, Jillian Michaels had hurdles to overcome too. But over time, she perfected her program and now documents it through her club, Jillian Michaels Club.

How Does Jillian Michaels Work

Jillian Michaels is all about eating healthy and getting regular exercise to burn off calories.

Now, if you aren’t into exercising and eating healthy, then the Jillian Michaels program will not be for you. You see, her diet club consists of eating healthy, and plenty of exercise.  And the reason for all this is because of her beliefs. You see, she believes that to lose weight there needs to be “more calories going out than coming in”.

As you probably know, this means the Jillian Michaels program is based around that principle. So from Day 1 when you enter he club, she will work out how many calories you are supposed to be eating per day and how many you should be exercising off.

To do this, there are a number of calculators and stuff to help you. Like the “Calorie Counter”, Weight Tracker” and others.

But one of the best features of the Jillian Michaels Program are the planners. You see, there’s a “Fitness Diary”. This is an online diary you can write into which will keep track of the weight you lose, the food you eat and also your feelings.  And there’s also a “Fitness Planner” to keep you on track and to make sure you are burning off those calories. 

Now the planners and calculators, are good, however you need to take action. You see, if you don’t like to exercise, then Jillian Michaels program, is probably not going to work for you.

For those who find they lose motivation quickly, then the program may help you. And this is probably the reason why more people chose this as their weight loss program of choice. You see, this is a community of people who want to lose weight. And it’s a community where you can chat and encourage others while getting encouragement to continue your road to weight loss.

The Verdict

To become a member of the Jiilian Michael program, you will need to pay $52 a quarter ($4 comes out each week). This is quite cheap compared to other membership sites. 

However, be warned. Like the contestants in The Biggest Loser, you need to eat healthy and get lots of exercise. If you don’t like to do those 2, then this program may not be for you. Otherwise, if you want to lose weight with exercise and through food, then this weight loss program is worth considering.
